Features

The LMS101 features a 25 key touch-capacitive keyboard, providing the user with an expressive controller to quickly weave intricate melodies or slow-moving drones, based on user interactions with the keys and controls.
The Complex Oscillator includes an analog multi-waveform oscillator (sine, triangle, saw, and square wave outputs) being passed through a wavefolding circuit. It is the mono voice of the synthesizer.
The Complex Oscillator produces rich varied tones, and so the sound design opportunities are limited only by one’s imagination.

The Output section features a Low-Pass Gate, which modulates the volume/filter applied to the audio to shape the rhythm of the final output, giving the impression of “humanity” to the sound.
It can produce very subtle or aggressive responses, depending on the user interaction with the LMS101.
It also includes a headphone jack to monitor the output by plugging in headphones rather than fussing with external gear [2].

The Envelope Generator emits a CV signal to sculpt the shape of the volume whenever it is triggered.
A snappy envelope will give a more percussive response, while a slow envelope will produce a more sustained response, like a bow on a violin string.

The Low-Frequency Oscillators (LFO) emit handy CV signals to automate parameters of the LMS101 using repetitive oscillations for ever-evolving soundscapes.
The Sample and Hold (S&H) is a very useful CV source for getting step-like control voltages to automate parameters of the LMS101 for interesting, non-repetitive movement in the sound.
